Hello everyone. As the title suggests, I'm having a but of a problem. I'm going to college this year and need a new laptop. The current laptop, well netbook, I have at the minute is a bit small and is getting a bit slow. I had a discussion with my parents where I told them that i wanted to get a macbook for myself, because I was in a good position to get a job that could pay for it. However I didnt get the job, and therefore I cant afford a macbook anymore. Thankfully my parents have still offered to get me a macbook but I really cant have them spend 1300+, so what im asking, is if there are any alternatives that are at a lower price but still good for a college student. Thanks
