    How long after pouring 30N 4" subfloor should I wait before I can put bails on concrete blocks on it?

    Any advise appreciated.

    Hi, I asked my partner and he said 3-4 days depending on weather is what we did. Hope this is helpful as i have noticed you posted a few days ago, i wonder what you did in the end :_)

    It is not recommended that setting concrete take any abnormal loadings within the first 28 days as this is where concrete gets to about 85% of its total strength and is still curing.

    Are you saying that we should of waited 28 days before we finised our floor levels? We started installing insulation and then UFH and central vac then finished floor within a week of sub floor..... yet no mentioned 28 days to us?

    No, actually I didn't say that.

    There's a huge difference between walking around on a slab installing insulation or pipework and putting bails of concrete blocks as point loads on a sub floor.

    Same as you. I waited 3 days. Didn't over do it though. Thanks for your input.
