Bike is fitted with shimano deore hydraulic brakes with 180 & 160mm rotors front & back.

I am a little underwhelmed with the brakes, especially the rear. The combination of the larger diameter wheels and my 95kg weight needs good stopping torque.

I am thinking of keeping the existing brakes but putting on 203mm rotors on both wheels. There seems to be a post mount adaptor to locate the calipers in the right position.

Does this approach make sense? Would i get much of an increase in stopping power?
