    Missed the 62 about three times, had to go back to 50 to remember how to snatch.
    Went back to 62 and got two singles. That's around 95% or so so I'm happy enough.

    Clean and jerks:

    68kg 1 x 3 should've been 2 x 3 but retardation occurred
    73kg 1 x 2
    77kg x 1
    80kg 2 x fail

    A good amount of misses at 77 but finally got one. Tried 80 but was never happening.
    Hopefully next week will be better.

    Back squat:

    Decided to test my 1RM for lulz after doing 5x5. Happy enough, up 10kg on my previous 1RM. My goal is to do 180 before the year is out which I'd say is obtainable.



    This week has been pretty tough with college starting back up, literally the longest week of my life.
    Monday feels like it was two weeks ago.
    Should be back in the swing of things next week.
    I really have to inject some positivity into my lifting as the last few weeks I've been pretty negative.
    I've decided the jerk is gonna be my bitch for the next two weeks, there's some positivity :)

    Meh loads of misses, happy enough that I managed six as I felt shíte today.

    Some of the snatches felt just plain weird.

    Rack jerks:

    Changed grip, feels better when pushing myself under the bar, with a bit of luck the jerk will start coming together now.

    Alright session in the end. Wasn't motivated at all and had no energy when I was heading in, missing days just seems to throw me off.

    Jerks are coming together slowly, the second 80kg was actually pretty good.
    Clean needs improvement, been hitting the bar forward a bit too much recently.

    Jesus these were tough. First set felt really heavy. Put 137 on the bar and just sat down. Must of sat in the hole for about three seconds before I could get the bar off my back.

    Snatches are really coming together at the moment. Think I'll aim for 75kg when I'm testing next week.

    Clean and jerk:

    Lol did a few warm up, which were terrible.
    Shoulder wasn't in the mood and my cleans were shíte.
    Did a few 50kg cleans to try and sort out my technique.
    Came to the conclusion that I've been looking at the fúcking floor on my cleans for the past two or three weeks :D

    Front squats:

    70kg x 2
    100kg x 1
    120kg x 1
    130kg x 1
    135kg x 1
    140kg x 1

    Happy enough, the 140 felt easier than any 140 back squat I've ever done.

    Snatch pulls:

    Did the last two reps of each set without lowering the bar back to the floor, just paused 'bout an inch or two from the floor and pulled from there.

    152kg x 1 Slowest squat ever! Once I came out of the hole I stalled at parallel for an eternity, literally about three seconds :D

    something x something, a couple of twenty rep sets is about all I remember.


    Testing next week on either Wednesday or Friday, haven't decided yet.

    All the misses are due to looking at the ground like a gobshíte, once I sort this things should be peachy.



    Clean and Jerk:

    Meh, got as far as 80 and gave up trying the jerk. I was a bit worn out after the snatches I think.

    Cleaned 85 and 90, 90 is a pathetic clean PR. Nearly exploded my ankle on one of the cleans.
    Tried 94 a couple of times.


    I'm going back on Friday to max the clean and jerk, if I get 90 I'll be slightly satisfied.

    90kg x 1 took it for a bit of a walk PR

    94kg x nearly snapped myself in two. Was caught off guard when I found the bar locked out above my head and started walking around trying to save it.
    Ended up looking up at the bar and felt my back starting to go, managed to throw the bar away forward and ended up on my arse wondering if I was paralysed or not :D
    It literally felt like I was about to fold backwards.

    Cleaned 99kg and missed 101kg by falling backwards when I racked the bar, also scary.


    So that's the end of my first ever program, 70/90 @ 90kg body weight, I'm actually happy. My end of year goals are 100/120 but I think 90/110 is a bit more realistic.

    New program next week, onwards and upwards.

    Fúcking lol! Hammered no front squats today. Walked out with 110kg, did one rep, cried on the inside and put the bar back.
    Did loads of 40kg snatches and attempted some 40kg c+j but shoulder said no.

    Saturday 3rd Nov.

    Did light squats on Friday so decided to do some yesterday. Worked up in singles to 130kg then did 135kg for a single set of five.

    Was happy enough to get the five as the first rep felt like a million kilos.

    73kg 1 x 1 then I only went and tried to fúcking kneecap myself missing the second jerk out front, now have a lovely lump above my knee.
    78kg x clark city, pathetic. Haven't clarked a lift in ages so I am really annoyed with myself.

    Absolutely delighted, first triple figure clean and jerk. Have no idea where it came from when I missed 88kg I thought I was going to struggle to even match my previous max. Wayne said my lock outs were soft so I focused on being more snappy overhead which really helped. The cleans were pretty good through out.
