Leaving a Fas course

Hi Guys, I started a fas course p/t last week under the impression that I would get the p/t fas rate and petrol money which would be almost €50 extra a week. When I went in I was told that there were no allowances for that course. It's an 80km round trip to the training centre which would be around €50 a week in petrol for me and I am only getting €100 on the dole so I can't affoard the travel expenses.
Will I be able to leave the course without problems or will I get in trouble with the dole because of it?

Maybe if you go to the Social Welfare "Facilitator" person? They work in conjunction with Social Welfare I think, and their main responsibility would be to approve any Courses that you start, and discuss it with them, well they might be able to help some way or they might be able to rectify it with Social Welfare that you're not just dropping out of the Course. Hopefully they can organize/arrange for you to change to another nearer Centre that does the Course.
