Sky TV Reception

I am just wondering if anybody in the Kells, Co, Meath area (or any other area actually) has very bad reception on Sky TV occasionally and not necessarily during bad weather. TV reception on analogue channels and now Saorview channels are perfect at same time as Sky is bad. When I say its bad I mean pretty much unwatchable.

Could it just be a case that the dish is slightly unalligned and needs to be realligned so to speak? From a quick look up it seems to be ok but to be honest its my parents house and I am not 100% certain the exact direction it should be pointing.

Also if I do need to get it realligned whats the best way to go about it? Should I just get a third partty company to do it or ring Sky and any idea on how much it would cost?

Sky will charge about €100 for a call out,however threaten to cancel & you might find they'll fix it for free.

could be a loose connection from sat, check cable at back of box, unscrew the f screw, look inside, u should see a little copper wire sticking out, that sometimes retracts, and if you know how check signal strength in the settings menu. if unsure ring sky etc
