copies of statements?

    if your involved in an incident and have to give a statement are you entitled to copies of statements from all parties involved?

    Criminal - generally no, although if it goes to court, the accused (or their solicitor) would get a copy of the book of evidence. It would be a bad thing for the complainant or other witnesses to see each other's statements.

    Civil - each side would seek copies of the other side's claims.
