wall switch Mechanical timer

im looking for a timer to turn on the landing light when im not home guys . ive seen a few on ebay but there plug in type .. im looking for somthing like this . but its a usa item and the light dirrection is different and more pointed unlike our irish switches.. cheers

spotted this on the Maplin website, looks like what you're looking for - you would have to replace the light switch currently in use, but not a particularly difficult job usually.

Would you consider a unit that fits into the actual light bayonet fitting?
