    I need help with my weight and diet. I am
    a 25 year old woman weighing roughly 17 stone my height is 5 ft 7in i don't look 17 stone but i am. I want to get healthy fit and down to around 14 stone by the end of the year. I don't eat that much but when i do i eat the wrong thingS. I guess i am just lookin for someone to guide me in the right direction. I work long hours which doesn't help. Someone please help

    Looks like you very easily pinpointed the area that you need to work on, which is great cos now all you need to do is fix it.

    Ideally you should
    *Read the stickies at the top of the forum about health and nutrition. There is plenty of excellent information in there about what foods you should be eating.
    *Find out how many kcals you should be consuming for weightloss. (Easy formula is bodyweight in lb x 12
    *Set up an account with myfitnesspal so that you are aware of how many kcals you are eating daily.
    *Make sure you are getting enough protein. Generally at least 1g per lb bodyweight is advised.
    * Stick at it!!!

    (EDIT: If your diet is full of meat, fish, eggs, vegetables, fruit and some nuts..well then you've got a fairly good base to play with!)

    When you are eating,lay it out for us - warts and all. Its not even a case of eating the wrong stuff- you are easting too much

    The stickies will be great, change the food you eat and find out how many cals you are eating now and how many you should be - dont have to follow it to a tee.

    If your diet is whole actual foods, it will be very hard to do the dog on it

    I work at ten most days so i have a scone with butter and jam and a coffee. Around 12 then i might cook a toasted sandwich i have the same around 6 then when i get home at ten i might cook chicken nuggets or somethin like that. I don't get out for lunch to have a proper one
