Finding work is quite easy and it pays well. Especially during the summer and tourist season. It gets a bit more difficult after the summer. There is office work going too which you can get by going into agencies.

Accommodation is quite difficult to find. Some jobs offer it but it is generally not to a great standard, often without kitchen facilities. There is some good stuff to be found be it's difficult. I may be able to pm you some numbers/names for work and accommodation depending on what type of work you're looking for.

It's a great place to live in summer, but it definitely quietens down over winter. It really depends on what you are looking to get from living there. You will find it very hard to find professional work, especially without experience. It is very much who you know, not what you know. Are you familiar with Jersey's very strict residency laws in terms of employment and housing?

It's a difficult place to get settled, but when you do a lot of fun can be had. I really enjoyed the time I spend there. The island has a lot to offer, it is very much worth taking the time to properly explore it.

I'll try to answer any other questions you have.

    Hi, thanks for replying

i'm not too fuss what jobs i take on to be honest with you as long it not office work. at the moment i'm just a self employed window cleaner, i'm sure i cant just pop over to jersey's and start a window cleaning business or can i?. yes i'm also aware i wouldn't be able to buy a property unless I've live in jersey for certain amount of years.

i'm at the stage where i'm just thinking about it but it something i really want to do, i will clearly have to do some more research.
