    Giving up the runnning and going to try and take up cycling anyways going to avail of the cycle to work.scheme as I pretty skint at moment I was going to.try and avail of the bike and gear for 1000.my question is there much of a difference between the felt 85 and 95 the 95 will give me enough change to buy some gear while the 85 will cost the whole 1000

    Very useful reply. Not.

    OP, shop around and see if you can get the F85 and some gear within the 1000 limit with the BTW scheme. The F85 is a better specd bike and you may regret buying the 95 if you went with it. I cant remember where but i'm nearly sure i seen the F85 for 900 somewhere very recently.

    That has to be one of the least helpful posts I've seen on boards.

    OP, where are you getting the bikes and the prices? Links to the spec's would be helpful. Haggle; I'd imagine you could probably get the f85 and a couple of bits for the grand.

    Also, Felt bikes are good, so don't take much heed of Eircom_Sucks comment.

    Well I was recommended felts by a avid cyclist at work so I'm surprised I went to wheelie there near liffey valley the 85 was 990 they went over the differences between the 95 and 85 but not sure if they were relevent to a biginner they will.always want u to get the dearer model.anyway
