Hi there, Im a drummer based in Limerick. Ideally looking to join/form a covers band. My influences range from 80s pop to modern day metal but mostly into the rock genre. Ive a few ideas about charty tunes that should get the full band treatment as opposed to overproduced, oversynthesised product which we hear on the radio. Im just nota guitarist of piano player so cant really translate it.

Ideal band setup for me would be the usual 2 guitars, bass and drums along with keyboards. Drop us a line if interested.

    *Bump*

Right, so Ive decided to put in my desired setlist. It's obviously not exclusive and anybody that wants to get involved will obviously have input on it so I'm completely open to ideas. I think that this is a rockin setlist tho and anybody I've shown it to is dying mad to hear it, so don't be shy. Get in touch.

Are you interested in doing just covers?

Hi Joe, I would love to do originals but Im 32 yrs old, just started college, have a bunch if kids and no job so need to get money somehow and doing covers is about the only way i can right now. total sell out i know, but hey, a mans gotta do n all dat.

wouldn't mind throwin a few originals into the mix in a predominantly covers oriented band tho. might be a bit interesting.

wot u got in mind yourself?

Doom sludge, exactly not the type of thing I would imagine you're interested in. Fair play on your wonderful use of the , though.

You wouldn't be interested in playing covers anyway, dude? Sell your soul? Earn a few bob?????

No, unless the defining characteristic of the band is no one can play their instrument very well I don't think I'll fit in.

Also Nickleback is on the list.
