Smoking area in Dublin airport

    Is there any -where to have a smoke inside terminal 1 after the security checks ????????????

    There is in Terminal 1 yeah, its in the bar(cant remember the name of it), but they have an outdoor smoking section there.

    I'm pretty sure the garden bar has a smoking terrace

    Terminal One, in "the Loop" area. After clearing Terminal 1 security, turn right & walk down the shop corridor through until you see signs for burger king on a balcony. Go up the escalator to that balcony & as you approach the burger king, to the left, is a bar with a smoking area. Only place airside you can smoke.

    Now, break's nearly over, I gotta get back to working security.....

    Edit: And if there's anyone in Terminal 2 wondering, just head for Terminal 1 airside. You'll end up at the exit of T1 security & the above directions will apply to you too. Just give yourself 10 minutes there & 10 back.

    handy to know. thanks :) I always hated that once I went through security that was it until I got out of an airport somewhere else.

    Yeah quite a few European airports have these smoking huts installed. In my experience it's not really a pleasant experience being inside one, the ventilation system is negated by the sheer volume of smoke when the hut is at full capacity.

    Hi... can you get to terminal 1 from terminal 2 when you have gone trough sercuity... was wondering if could head over there to have a ciggie before flight...
