I have donated clothes to charity shops for years, the best of clothes hardly worn etc, but in this economic climate () I would really like a hassle free way of selling them, just to even get a small bit of money would be great... haven't a clue about ebay and I know that the Dublin flea markets cost 40E a day... any advice, opinions? thanks

There's places that weigh your clothes and give you cash... I think they just sell these on on elsewhere though.

eBay is quite easy to use, but hard to sell clothes on, esp if you're based in Ireland. But there's free listing this weekend so might be no harm trying it out!

I agree selling on ebay Ireland can be difficult and very slow and items can go for very little! Thats great if your a buyer!!;) if you are considering ebay i would recommend selling on the uk site its a much bigger market and in my experience items sell for a lot more, u can always sell on ebay.ie and offer international postage rates but a lot of people searching the uk market will have their search settings set to the uk site so it wont be seen as much
Not much experience with the Irish sites Adverts, Donedeal etc but few of the girls in the office are always selling on them

Not at all but still better than nothing. It worked out at 10kg for €5. I only had one 10kg bag, got me thinking about all the times I've just given tons of stuff away!
