Replacement Bite Guards

I've lost my cumstom made bite guard which I got from my dentist for approx £80gbp.

I badly need a new one as I'm stressed at work which is causing my grinding to become more severe. However, are there any decent over the counter guards or kits which are cheaper than the custom one I got made?

    Thanks,

Soft splints cause more clenching and are not for long term use, look into a custom hard acrylic night guard. Soft splints act like chewing gum in the mouth and cause the jaws to bite into the softness.

Okay - my asoft one had almost worn through anyway! Is there much difference in cost?

yes about triple - quadpouble for a hard one, but I wouldn't wear a soft one if the dentist paid me.
