hi guys, just want to get some peoples opinion of this bike. Im thinking of getting a TT bike sometime soon and I seem to have fallen for this one. However I dont know enough about things like proper bike fit, is it agressive or comfortable etc. I hope to complete a full distance race in 2014 and am planning on this being a long term investment. All feedback gratefully accepted

    great bike
    fantastic spec.
only disadvantage they have only 3 frame sizes and jump from frame is quite big ( if you are lucky and it fits happy days) .
would be more a agressive bike as head tube is shortish ( dodnt nail me on this know but from top of my head its inbetween a p2 and p3 bit shorter than the p3 and a bit higher than the p3, but take this with a grain of salt and check foryourelf)
I have ridden it once and liked it a lot, and you wont get a bike in this price frame with much better value.

there was one for sale with head disc and head jet i think for 2200 at done deal
the person that called the advertiser to enquire said it was gone in 30 min

Thanks for that Peter , would you think it might be a bit too good for a guy like myself who is not out to break records but who wants to consistently improve over a period of time. It will be my first tt bike but I would prefer to buy a higher spec rather than trading up again in a years time, don't know if this is the right approach though......

it would be a bike I would not refuse to ride and on my A list for good value bikes. if i was training hard (i dont so for me it would be too much bike)
I think its well known that I make fun of lazy people riding expensive bikes, but a bike dealer once told me its way cheaper buying a silly bike than a sily car ........ one cant refuse that point so if you have the money its fine if it would mean you have to save money in other aspects of your life yes than it is too much bike for you.
and if you plan to train to your best abilities why not having a good bike.

at the end of the day it needs to fit thats the most important bit of a bike

Thanks a mill Peter, really appreciate it. Seems a bit of a risk buying through the website and not actually being able to actually sit on it in a bike shop... Anyway no rush so I won't panic (yet)

If your in no rush to buy the bike it might be worth waiting for a bit. Canyon have announced a new tt bike that they will be releasing soon. Think its called the speedmax cf evo, plenty of info about it on their website. No prices are mentioned on the webiste but any prices I've seen mentioned start at about €4000. Looks like it is going to come with the electric ultegra gears so might be worth the wait.
