    Hi
I was wondering do many accountancy firms know of sages pending decision of ceasing the sage commerical aspect of their sage accounts production product in the new development over to SFS.
This would mean there would be no book keeping aspect to the product.
I just know that in our opreation it is an essential tool in teh preparation of the accounts and a way more simpler than using sage client manager which sage have recommend to use instead.
Just looking for your views on this.

I work at Sage and at the moment there is no plan to cease the latest version of Sage Commercial or Accounts Production and you can continue using them into the future.

Where I think the crossed-wires occurred, was with our on-going investigations into what the future of producing final accounts looks like. We know Revenue are beginning their journey to iXBRL and there have been significant advances in technology in recent years (cloud etc).

We’re also listening to our user feedback and getting input from accountant experts. To have your say in our Next Generation software planning we’d be delighted to hear from you to ensure we fully understand your business and software needs/usage. Contact 1890 88 20 60
