    I hope you are. Farm has been in our family for 4 generations and we have never "cried out for" rain here in the north west.

    I probably will be. Land here is shallow, so when it's wet it gets waterlogged quick, when it's dry, it dries quickly. Can't win!

    Likewise we never need rain. Growth on some fields slows down ok but lower fields carry us in a drought.

    Not around here anyway, if it doesn't rain for a few weeks we'd still have plenty water in the ground.

    Oh god i wont be anyway even if growth stops again at least ill be able catch up on the topping and do abit of spraying and things i can do nothin at the moment..

    Oh jeebus no, whelan is on about the weather again, there's sure to be a drought in August and september:p

    If the seat's wet, sit on yer hat, a cool head is better than a wet ar5e.

    Just to clarify, I dont actually believe we'll get 3 or 4 weeks of dry warm weather, but if we did.....

    Don't worry lads I'll take out my strimmer after a couple of dry days and that'll break the weather no problem. Never fails.
