Anyone watch the mighty ducks series yet?

I watched it. Great first episode very reminiscent of the first movie in the best way.

Shame Bombay won’t be the coach but I guess it’s time to pass the torch.

You really see how ridiculously big Cena is when he's placed beside normal looking people and not in a wrestling ring. Look at his arms on the bus!

    Yeah. He's huge.
Has to be eating that HGH :pac:

There was a lot of easter eggs hidden in the first episode if you never watched the movies

I'm sure he'll be offering words of wisdom if he's not going to be full coach.
Curious to see how he got there from where we last saw him in D3

What's the tone of it? Loved the movies as a kid, but is it aimed at me, or aimed at a new generation of kids? Or both?

Is it Girl Meets World, or is it Kobra Kai? :P

Deffo aimed at kids. But enough Easter eggs and charm in it to keep me interested. An easy Friday watch. Won’t win any awards.

The series finale of Superstore aired last week in the states, tied everything up in a clever way, overall enjoyed the series, it takes a few episodes to get into it

Does it look like the end, or is it set up for another series?

That idea has been canned apparently
The last scene in superstore went through what happened to a lot of the main characters. Marriage,kids/new jobs etc.
    Good final ending imo

Not long to go until we find out how the fight at the end of the first half of the season played out/ended. I mean
    GOD
showed up. Then boom, cut to black.

Also not ready for the 6th and final season.

Netflix about to sign a $400m+ deal for Knives Out 2 & 3 with Daniel Craig & Rian Johnson returning as star and director

    https://deadline.com/2021/03/knives-out-two-sequels-netflix-400-million-plus-deal-daniel-craig-rian-johnson-ram-bergman-1234724575/

I did enjoy the first one but I did not think Craig would sign on to another franchise

Are there any decent non-WWE wrestling games on Xbox (One)? Or are they mostly just on PC?

    Short answer is no.

I still load up EWR revenge from time to time. Simple, yet effective.

I haven't played it but is Fire Pro Wrestling World on Xbox? I know it's on PS4

Backyard to Global was such a fun challenge in that game. I like the TEW games, although the new one took a bit of getting used to.

I found the TEW games harder to navigate and less easy to dip n and out of.

God I didnt know Fire Pro was out on PS4, will see if there is an Xbox version. Good PS1 memories.

Yeah the UI is pretty awful. Once they got rid of the step by step preset storylines I found it a lot easier though.

What do you ise to play it on? Do you use any custom mods?

Just the laptop. I haven't used a custom mod on the 2020 one yet but used to like one of the Attitude Era ones on 2016's game. The fantasy mod where wcw survived was fun too

    1988They_Live_poster300.jpg

'They Live' (`1988, John Carpenter) is now on NetFlix Ireland. I recommend anyone who hasn't seen it to just do that. It stars Roddy Piper and it's a highly under-rated film. Sure, it has a cult following but not as notable as Carpenter's other work 'The Thing' - give it a look guys. Only clocks in at 94 minutes.

Even South Park parodied the infamous fight scene.

    Was that the Jimmy/Timmy fight?
Though Cartman announced it as something less PC? :)

    Such a shame, RIP

Another blow for British TV and the series, the new series was filmed already afaik but could be mistaken

Falcon and Winter Soldier with a really strong episode today, IMO. A bit slow but some really good character moments for multiple characters.

And a fun cameo I did not know about the casting of too!

About to watch it now, last weeks episode was solid. Brought a great slow build to a brutal head.
