10-15 hour contract

    Hi all,

I'm currently working under a 10-15 hour contract starting a month or so ago. Most weeks since i've started i've got 2 days (max 7 hours per day) a week, with the exception of one where i got 3 days.

Would I be eligible to social welfare for the other days I'm not working, if so how do I go about it? I was on it before I got this job.

Would this influence my manager giving me more hours a week if he knows that I'm claiming for the other two even though the contract states 10-15hours?
As in, would he only give me the 2 days if I claim jobseekers?

Just don't want to be stuck with minimum hours if i was to do this

    Thanks a lot!
