Objecting to Licence Renewal

    Person A is owed pretty significant debt by Person B and has a Court Judgment for same. Person A is having difficulty getting payment. Person B is a publican. My question is can A object to B being granted a Licquor Licence on the grounds of the outstanding debt?
    If so, what is the process to be followed? Does Licqour Licence only come up for renewal once a year and is it only then the objection to renewal can be made??

    Person A has a business and owes Person B money. Person B shuts down that business to what end?

    Go to a solicitor and go down the regular debt collection route. Consider some of the colourful and indebted characters that still have pub licenses, it's not really a runner.

    No you cannot use an objection to a licence renewal as a means of collecting a debt.
