    Should be an interesting program.

Despite being someone who uses a large amount of Lucozade and energy gels I'd be a bit sceptical about them actually doing anything particularly useful for my sporting ability. I effectively use them for medial reasons.

I'm not liking the idea that they are looking to try and increase the tax on the likes of Lucozade drinks in the UK at the moment.

I was always sceptical of the lucozade sport claims, given the research referred to on the bottle, was so long ago. That said, it tastes fantastic after a long run.

However, this part is questionable: “the size of the effect is often minuscule and it certainly doesn't apply to the population at large who are buying these products.”

Ties in with Robin’s concerns about a higher tax on the products in order to dissuade ‘the population at large’ from buying them.
    It’s a huge industry.

Oh and expensive runners wont make you faster

The only thing that will make you faster is more training. Good shoes will help keep you training.

(Note: 'Good' is not necessarily 'Expensive')
