I am in the market for a new 3 wood. Currently i have a 15 degree which i hit bout 190 - 200 from the tee. I was looking at the cobra s3 and the taylormade superfast 2.0 on mcguirks. Does anyone have an opion on which is the best one? Is there much to be gained if i go for an 18 degree?

If you are hitting it well why do you want to change?.
Anyway either of those is fine, but if you go for an 18 degree then it's a 5 wood.

Thanks for that . Getting a New 3 wood cause one I have needs to be retired. it served me well but needs a rest. I ll get a 15 degree so. Leaning towards the taylormade 15 euro in the difference

I've a 15° TM Superfast and can't recommend it enough. Very easy to hit from the faiway & also off the tee. In my experience with my previous three woods they were better at one than the other but that could just be me...

I have an TM R9 3 wood and its one the easiest clubs hit in my bag - both off the tee and fairway.

If you're not planning on changing loft on your existing wood, then would you consider a new custom shaft fitting. Would probably be of more benefit than a new off the shelf club?

If you're set on one of those two, then I've got the Superfast 2.0 and its a lovely club to hit, off the tee or fairway.

Haven't hit the cobra before so can't comment on that.

One thing about the Taylor Made would be to consider your height, as they can tend to have longer shafts on their clubs than most other brands. So if you're on the shorter side you might consider something else?

I would go down the route of getting a New shaft but head on the 3 wood needs to be replaced looks shocking. I'm 5 9. I would imagine that's tall enough.

Before you buy anyhting check out the RBZ high launch 3 wood, well that's what they call it,it's really a 4 wood but so much easier to get up with very little sacrificed in distance.
It's the best wood i've ever hit and i've tried out a lot,it's 17 degrees btw.
