Noisy neighbours

Hi all, Ive always got great advice from the helpful folks here on boards.ie and find myself in a bit of a situation again so hoping somebody could advise.

Im just wondering if anybody knows if theres any set times for noise restrictions, specifically for commercial building work, being enforced in Dublin city centre.

I live in an apartment in the city centre above quite a large shop thats currently being renovated. Its an odd situation in as much as its a one off apartment, no other residential apartments in the entire building, just ours however the shop is well and truly aware we're there. For the past 2 weeks Ive been woken almost every night at 4 or 5am with the sound of drilling from the renovations. Im not one to cause trouble so I havent approached them yet as I figured they'd be finished soon but its still on going and its at the stage now where its effecting me in work from not having a good nights sleep in weeks.

The obvious thing is to approach the shop, which I will do. Im just wondering if theres any legal grounds for me to approach them. Should they be working right through the night when theres a residence beside/above them?

    Any advice would be appreciated.
