    All the publicity the GSM units are getting does it seem likely that they will drop in price ? I mean who would pay 250 + for a device that can be rendered useless so easily and cheaply :/

    Can't see it happening for a while, especially when some company's are still being irresponsible and happy to sell them without informing the customer of the risks or the other options.
    Worse still some company's are telling people other providers lines don't work just so they can push GSM digis.

    That would be a thought but it is not going to happen. Different GSMs provide different features to customers with no phone line so there is quite still a big demand for them.
