    Hi y'all
I hope maybe someone might be able to shed some light on this! I was involved last year in a family business with my mum and dad, due to ill health and the current economy , we had to close the business, leaving behind some bank debt. I recieved a letter from the banks solicitor informing me there were taking a judgement mortgage out against me on any property I own. Now I don't own any property, I am 23 and living in my parents heavily mortgaged house. However does this judgement mortgage affect me if i get left property in the next 12 years (term of the judgement). Thanks a mill for any feedback and I hope I have this in the right forum, its my first posting.

If you buy any property in the next 12 years they can slap a JM on it if they find out.
