Just saw an AA 777 turning finals over portmarnock, which is a fairly short final IMO! Then heard ATC saying "everything looks okay from here". Does anybody know what happened?

Does look to be more than the usual holding activity off Bray and Lambay

Saying it is due to depart DUB in 2 minutes heading for JFK, meaning only 30 minutes on the ground!! Seems very short for a diversion, possibly medical??? But why did i hear the controller saying everthing looks ok?

It was indeed a medical diversion, it landed with a large fuel load still on board so a full emergency turnout was needed just incase
