Hey guys, thinking of doing a bit of a jaunt in Europe for a week or two in August.

I was planning on buying the 5 days in 10 interrail pass, and traveling from Budapest, to Munich, to Vienna, to Prague and then Berlin.

I had hoped to use night trains where possible, but obviously I have to make 4 journeys and only have 5 travel days.

My understanding is the 7pm rule means should I overnight on a train that leaves after 19:00 and arrives after 04:00 I should put down the day of arrival as the travel day. Unless its my first day of travel, in which case it has to take up both. Is that the only rule?

Mate I remember travelling on an interrail overnight train when I did it and can't remember the rules only to tell you they will be well printed on the ticket and if you are unsure maybe to inquire at the ticket office once you commence your trip. Or ring their helpline!
