Hi all, have played a bit of golf since i was 25 socially and now im 30 and my GAA career is coming to an end i have decided to take it a little more seriously.
Got my first lesson off Paul McGaharn at Elmtree last week and in 15 minutes he totally changed my swing!
The first quarter of my back swing was bad, as in i broke my wrists immediately and had a terrible swing path leading to hitting alot of balls fat and left. (i have been scoring 30ish off 22 when playing well)
The difference was astonishing, and I realise Im not cured now and need thousands of range balls to remember this swing.
All the same i might keep track of progress on here as motivation, even if noone reads it:D

Best of luck, in no time at all your head will be fit to explode with all the different lessons you've picked up on the net, you'll wonder why you even bothered taking up golf, those muddy football boots in the shed will make you think ch**st, a game only lasted over an hour with those and at least I had teammates to blame for bad days....

    Other than that, It's a pleasure :D
