I've had cakes from both Akin for Bakin (Northside though) and The Cake Cart(based in Tallaght... she's doing the YummyMummy Markets if you're at them and want to sample!)- both have facebook pages.
Both do fab cakes and cupcakes.

I'm not involved in either business, but do know the girls who run them in the spirit of full disclosure. I wouldn't recommend them if they weren't excellent though!
