Cakes / biscuits that will keep

My sister is getting married in a couple of weeks and my mam wants to make some things in case people call and she is caught with nothing in the house.
So we want to make things that will keep.

We have made chocolate biscuit cake / rocky road (although that's not lasting too long as it its too good not to eat it!) And caramel squares.

Any suggestions of anything else that will keep?

Madeira cake is one of the best cakes if you want it to keep for a few days.
    Tea brack is also good.
