Great programme, just a shame they have the ghastly Georgie Thompson narrating.

4 years later and I still can't believe Newcastle appointed Joe Kinnear that season.

Amir Zaki is currently scoring for fun and Spurs are bottom of the league.

    Love this show!

What a fúcking legend Amir Zaki was. Forgot all about him and his overly inflated ego

Amr Zaki quoted "If an offer from a decent club does not come up by the end of my time at Hull, then I will return to Zamalek." On 17 April 2010 it was confirmed by his agent that his loan had been terminated and he returned to Zamalek.

Its the only time I can get to see Leeds in the Premiership. One of my favourites clips is the Viduka 4 goals against Liverpool in a 4-3 win. Ah the good times :o

Caught the 99 season last week, not only cause of the Treble for United fans but also

    Dave O'Learys babies
Chelsea spent big that year, Desailly, Laudrup, Casigragi, Tore Andre Flo
    Houllier/Evans Joint Manager Farce
The emergence of Michael Owen, banging them in all over the shop
    Di Canio pushing the ref
    Van Hooydonk refusing to play
    Fowler snorting the line
Fowler making gestures to Le Saux
Hoddle making strange comments and losing the England Job
    Jimmy Glass last minute winner
Man City Winning on Penos in Play off from Third Division

    Best Season ever!

Were they on the show ?

Surprising seeing as the show is called the Premier league Years.

Anytime I wached it I thought that there was a lot of self promotion by Sky in Georgie Thompson narrating, things like 'Sky brought you into the New Year with a Double Super Sunday Grand Slam Block Buster Six Pointer between Coventry and Ipswich'

yeah, it was on it, they do small bits between each month showing what else is going on in the world of sport and news at the time.

its almost like Reeling in the Years
