At 2k I would be looking at an old 2.8 pajero or a fourtrack, fourtrack can be rusty and good ones make good money. Should get a decent pajero for that money.

Ya the 3.1 trooper from 92-98 is a good machine, DO NOT BUY the later 3.0 engine as it is very troublesome. Check for rust.

Why, you think they are making more than that?
I think the OP would get one for that if they looked hard enough.

It must be the old model like this you mean?

Beacuse you will not get the newer model for 2k, maybe if he could stretch to 2750 he might get an early one but I would expect it to be in poor condition.

I think you are better buying a vehicle like a pajero-trooper that has an abundance of vehicles in the 1500-2000 euro segment then trying to get a landcruiser for 2k that is the cheapest out there because it is thrashed. Just my 5 cents!
