so i have ruptured my achillies tendon and had surgery over 4 wks ago and am in a cast for another 4 wks, when the cast was changed 2 wks ago, the surgeon very happy with the healing so the foot was flexed and the cast put back on.

i am starting to get cabin fever as you can imagine as i had spent the previous 2 months getting back into exercise, i want to do some exercise now and am just wondering can i do any leg exercise, will ring the physio dept in the hospital at beginning of week and speak to someone there but i really need to be doing something.

anyone had the same injury? any recommendations?

oh ya how it happened lets just say i wont be going on a trampoline at any time again sober or under the influence of alcohol :)

You need to ask your Physio.

You can't ask for that kind of advice here.
    It's against the charter.

If you want to do some sort of exercise, maybe try to find a gym that has a hand bike but I wouldn't/couldn't advise you to do anything on an injury like that.

    Rest up, let it heal.

Find a new box set or a series of books.

Better to get it right 1st time than have to go back to square one.
