I have the flights booked for our trip to Rome next year and have started to look at hotels. We have nt been to Rome before so I'm wondering is there any particular part of Rome the Irish frequent hotel wise. Or can anyone recommend a hotel.

Ìm not sure about any specific hotels. The stadium is pretty far from the city centre, but I wouldnt recommend staying near the stadium, as everyone will be going back into the city centre after.

One thing to note, there is a €5 tax per room per night on hotel rooms in Rome, so if you use hotels.com or whatever, make sure to find out if they cover that charge before you go!! We ended up paying an extra €30 we didnt have to....
