    Hi Aquila,
ATM-only cards are not yet being replaced by Visa Debit. You can apply to upgrade your card to Visa Debit by completing a Card Application Form in a branch. All card upgrades are subject to approval and take about 5 working days to process.

Details of your branch can be found here if you would like to apply for a Visa Debit card.

    Thanks
    Linda

However BOI intend to replace all ATM only card's with Visa Debit Cards in the near future - approval guaranteed.

    Hi Delta2113,

There may be small number of customers that won't have their ATM card replaced with a Visa Debit card. Individual customers with ATM cards will be informed by post of the plans to change to Visa Debit in the coming weeks.

    Thanks,
    Graham
