Self employed/part time job

I'm currently self employed and, despite working a full five day week, i am taking in very little money, to such an extent that I recently had an interview for a part time job. I thought I would get a 6/8hr night shift twice or three times a week at a decent rate of pay and still be able to have some semblence of a life. instead, they can only offer me two 12 hour shifts at a normal rate on a saturday and sunday without any time off whatsoever - so basically working 7 days a week, every week, indefinitely and only making €100 more a week than i would if i signed on.

i have no problem with hard work and i work hard as it is, just at something that doesnt pay well but if i take this job, i would never get to see my partner or friends and the associated paperwork that goes with being self employed - accounts, correspondence etc - that i currently do at weekends would now get no time. i'm inclined to turn down the job and try sign on instead, but my family want me to take the job. any advice?

ps i know this may seem insensitive to people who are struggling to find work, but the job i have at the moment is my dream job and i simply need a way to make ends meet
