You'll get lots of suggestions here, make sure who ever takes it does a change of ownership and that you post it to Shannon youself, or that a cert. of destruction is issued to you.

I often wondered about making up a fake name and address and sending the cert off to Shannon then parking the car in tesco or something and forgetting about it!
    Somebody must of done it,
My friend got rid of a non runner recently in KIldare.99 Hyundai lantra (or similar) and they paid 200 quid for it.but charged 50 to pick it up

Plenty of guys in donedeal advertising that they will take off you and collect. As already said you have to ensure that you get a certificate of destruction.

93 (at least I think it's a 93 - will check tmrw!) corsa - dead battery, no tax, no nct; 5 door - worse still - no power steering! reckon it's only good for spare parts at this stage

and it's that puke green they used to sell (but it's the same as this era: http://cars.donedeal.ie/for-sale/cars/2996718)

free my foot...I bought a defunct Fiesta for parts recently and thought I did well paying €200! I ve already re-used enough bits to cover the €200 and I see several engines on ebay from them for sale from €250 to €400 and I still have loads of bits to sell or re-use including bumpers lights and mirrors which alone are worth the €200 i reckon.

Don't let it go for free...ask €100 minimum or break it yourself and ebay the bits.

Definitely don't let it go for free. It's worth money nowadays.

Agree dont give it away, has to be worth a few hundred euro for parts. The doors alone must be worth 200 euro. Advertise it as a donor car for parts. Guess someone repairing a corsa will be delighted to get parts from it.
