    You can open straight away, not like pit silage. Currently feeding fresh bales to bullock I am fattening, were about 5 days made when I started feeding them, amazingly they were baled dry and have a lovely sweet smell from them.

    Straight away...if you have to!
    A week is a help, but not necessary.
    Best if baled dry, of course:rolleyes:

    I baled wet, opened it in 4 days in the open; they loved it.
