    Yes, once you qualify as a young trained farmer. see attached from Revenue website http://www.revenue.ie/en/tax/stamp-duty/certificates/young-trained-farmers.html

    im in the process of buying land for the first time. ive a BSc Hons Agriculture.. am i reading it right but do i still have to do an 180hr or 80 hr teagasc green cert to avoid stamp duty!? anyone experience this.. thanks in advance

    Hi Bodacious, if your qualification is one of those listed under Schedule 2B in the pdf list whose link is in the revenue link I gave above then no need of further Teagasc training.
