hi guys just wondering if anybody can help me out. i plan on asking my girlfriend the big one and im in the process of buying the ring but have a minor problem. im currently away with work and dont know her ring size i cant ask family or friends to find out for me as it will be too obvious. the only thing i can think of is that she wears them costume rings from likes of claires or pennys sometimes so here it is...
a] are they a universal size
    b] what size are they

reason is i want the ring to atleast go on her finger any adjustments can then be made afterwards.

hope somebody can help me cheers

Have you ever tried to put on one of her rings? I figured out how far down my baby finger her other rings would go and used that to size my fiancée's ring.

I did the same, can't think of anyway unless you enlist the help of someone back home

same as above. if you can't sneak a fitting on your fingers of one of her rings don't panic. It's a bonus for the ring to fit at the proposal, but she won't expect it. I managed to get it right, but she was surprised it fit and asked how I did it. A nice bonus, but obv not something the girl expects or worries about. Don't worry about it and just enjoy the night!
