How much to sell below asking price

    Just a hypothethetical question. If a person is selling say a car for €4.500 privately i.e asking price how much would you be willing to sell below this if the buyer wnts to haggle and pay by cash of course

    well if your cars only worth 3k then you can go as low as 3k..but its entirely dependent on the seller, how badly he wants to sell and conversely how badly the buyer wants to buy! So impossible to answer in general

    It all depends on how much the car's worth. I've negotiated more than 50% off on occasion, but i've also paid full asking.

    in this market a car is only worth what somebody is willing to pay for it, if you get me. Large engine luxobarges being worth half a mars bar & a packet of tayto as long as they have NCT, without it their worth a half used Energizer battery.
