    Hi folks .....

Can anyone tell me after how many miles a 2ltr petrol passat have the timing belt changed & along with the water pump is it recommended to fit a kit or just the belt.

    Cheers.

The information I have here says 120,000 miles or 4 years, whichever comes first. I certainly wouldn't leave it that long though. 75k miles or 4 years would be a good safe interval IMO.
