Summer Group Buy 2012..

Since the Spring Group Buy was such a roaring success I thought it might be an idea to give a summer one a go.. :rolleyes:

I'm willing to do all the ground work on this one if people are interested.

I would propose a quick turn around on this one to get the ball rolling again.

A tentative schedule:

Friday 13/07/12 - Decide on where to buy from
Sunday 22/07/12 - Last orders
Monday 23/07/12 - Do the buying

So, are people interested? And if so, where do you recommend?

Ohhhh, I've just brought back a stash of Intelli from a visit to the States. Cracking open the Sugar Glider espresso in the morning :-)

If it happens to be another roaster I'll have a think about it.

Right, updated spreadsheet is here.

Shipping is the default quote from the website. I've split shipping out based on weight. I'll give them a ring on Monday and see if there's anything they can do. I'll double-check the orders and calculations before ordering on Monday.

From experience shipping shouldn't cost more than €160 to one location in Ireland. Normally we hook up in Dublin and pick up the beans. We've done the buy from intelli before and Stephen contributed to the thread so link this thread and this post in an email and I'm sure he'll see us right :-)

As the order isn't massive, I'm happy to take the hit up front and take payment on collection

I live in Dublin 12 and work from home most days so would be open for collection any time in my house(will pm address to anyone interested). Depending on demand I'd also be up for a meet in town on a day to be decided once we have the merchandise in hand (weekday evening or weekend daytime).

My order on the new xls isn't quite right - can you remove the 1lb of sugar glider and add in 0.5lb of Java Nica. (p.s. I think you added my Java Nica order to Slaphead07).

Sorry for the delay in getting back to everyone but I was hoping to have news before posting..news which I still don't have..

It would seem that our man on the inside is on holidays..

That leaves us with two choices:

1. Order now and incur the full shipping cost - I'd give them a call and hope that someone else can look after us
2. Wait a week or two in the hope that we can get a discount (which is by no means guaranteed)

What do you guys think?

Right, sorry for taking so long to get back to everyone but wanted to have something to report back on first..

After some technical trouble (it seems that my original unsolicited email begging for free stuff got marked as spam - can't imagine why ) I've finally managed to get in contact with Stephen from Intelligentsia and should hopefully know soon enough if he can help us out or not.
