Hi all, I just recently quit my job. Was working there for over a year earning over 300 euro a week. Im 24 so was wondering what would I get on job seekers benefit? Job seekers allowance is 144 so do I get 124 euro on top of this and het 268 euro a week?

    No.
    You get the JSB.

EDIT: I don't know if there is a waiting period for payment since you quit your job as opposed to being made redundant.

as you "quit" your not going to get anything at all for at least 9 weeks. Then you might get €188

I have a vailid reason for quitting so will be back on it right away. Im currently job hunting and not a leech. Badly Underpaid, horrible hours and nothing to do with my degree in college, just took the first job i was offered. If I cant get one I'm going to do a placement through jobbridge.

The €124 is if you have an adult dependent, you don't add it on otherwise. If you on average earned more than €300 then it will be €188, if it worked out as being on average slightly below €300 then you'll get €147.
