i never heard much about the ban on sale of chemical Asulam in europe fom 31 dec 2011 and from 31 December 2012 - end of the use-up period. After this date it will be illegal to apply or store products containing Asulam in the EU.

i went into coop to get it and no use... pain as i was winning the battle ... what do we use now?

There has been a fair bit of chat about it on BFF in the last couple of years. For bracken a lot are wiping or spraying with glyphosate. I'm going to try to make up a wiper I can use with the quad and see how it goes. We have some asulox but I notice in my own place that there's new bracken coming up again in spots after two/three years of spraying it. I have heard, but I can't confirm from my own experience, that using glypho will kill it for good.
