    Hi guys,
just got a Triax TSC114 up and running. Seems a nice bit of kit. I noticed there is a 5v RF out on the rear of the box. Can this be used with something similar to the Sky Magic Eye to get the picture to another room?

i.e. I'm hoping for a simple cheap multiroom solution and the Triax tri link kit is a bit too expensive (compared to Sky Magic Eye).

    Cheers

You need the tri-link or similar, the box does not have an internal modulator.

The 5 VDC is output from the RF-in to power an aerial amplifier.

can you view different channels with this or are you stuck to viewing the same program in all rooms?

    Same channel in every room.

There is a connection at the back of the TSC114, specifically for the TriLink modulator, saves having an IR emitter sitting in front of your box. But of course, same channel in each room.

    Hi Jivin,

I bought a digisender from argos which consists of a transmitter which plugs into the back of the box via scart and the receiver which plugs into the back of the receiving tv.You can buy reveivers separately.I have it in 4 rooms. The picture isn't 100% but its definitly watchable.Same channel in each room though.I think the transmitter and receiver cost about 70 euros and each separate receiver about 30 euros.
