    Hi,

    Just wondering what the state of affairs is with marijuana in Amsterdam now? Is it legal for tourists to use still? It seems very hazy at the moment and from what I've heard it's not been forbidden for tourists yet, but would like to hear from someone who's been over lately, haven't been over there for two years.

    Yeah still available, the ban for foreigners is due to kick in in Amsterdam in January 2013.

    wow really there going to lose a lot of custom and tourism over it,that said though i heard there is a lot of problems in amsterdam over it,lots of loutish behaviour and a heavy police force trying to deal with it,obviously the latter costs..

    Nope nothing like that at all. Its mostly a problem with people from other european countries driving up stocking up on weed


    I think its a positive move.

    When weed is legalized in Ireland in 2014 it will be kept to private member clubs only it seems.

    Yes still legal in Amsterdam, Utrecht and other Northern Cities, You won't be able to buy it in Eindhoven or other places down south. Train from Eindhoven to Utrecht is about €26 return
