Just reading up on tax and stuff here. I'm 18 and while I've never had a proper job beyond au pairing and babysitting, which I've been doing the last 6 years. On the citizens information act, it says you need 2 years work done before you get the 8.65 rate, do I fall into that or no?

No essentially, i.e. if you start in pretty much any job, you'll be on the lower rate.

You need to have two years provable work experience with p45s etc to show your history.

And you have to have two years RELEVANT experience past the age of 18 to qualify. You could be working in your parents place for ten years but it's not counted. The clock starts at age 18. Plus any work you have done has to be relevant. 20 years experience being a doctor, pilot, or dentist is zero experience unless it's in that field.
