Veneers or a crown

    Hi all,

My wife has asked me to post this on her behalf. (She is not a boards member-gonna seek medical advice on that:pac:)

She damaged her front tooth as a child and when her adult teeth grew, they were badly alligned. When they grew, the bottom of her front tooth was brown and had to be filled. During her teenage years, she had braces which she is told now damaged the enamel on her teeth.

All her teeth are unevenly coloured and look stained. (She doesn't smoke or drink coffee) She had teeth whitening done using the "trays" with the gel in then but they had no effect.

She went to 3 dentists (all recommended by friends) and they each recommended 3 completely different treatments. The frist recommended a crown. The second recommended veneers and the third recommended she just get the tooth refilled and do nothing with the rest.

She would like her teeth to be an even shade of white. Any advice or opions on how to achieve this would be appreciated. I can post pictures if that helps.
